Words of Advice: Hummmmm, well, the time of no sleep will pass soon and you will be surprised one morning you will wake up and it's 7 or 8am and you'll realize that you just sleep through the night! A great moment, until then, hang in there and rest when you can!!! Even if it's 1 or 2 in the afternoon, don't feel bad, just sleep :-)

Well I don’t have any funny stories from my childhood that are not self incriminating and seeing as how I’m not a mommy I don’t have advice to pass along, however I do know one thing… Love your precious gift with all of your heart and soul and everything else will work out fine.

I'm with Naomi-- sleep when you can. Don't worry about dirty dishes or laundry- it's not going anywhere. Don't compare your kid or your parenting talents to anyone else's. Every child and family is different. And with that, don't be afraid to ask others for advice. Then tailor it to fit in how you would like (or just ignore it completely!) Take lots of pictures!! Enjoy every moment because soon you will realize that he has grown and no longer makes that same expression or nuzzles you in quite the same way. As parents, tell each other how you are feeling (overwhelmed, tired, joyfully tearful) so you can support each other as needed. Have fun!!
