Update from Sarah!

Today I was driving home from what seemed to be my one thousandth doctor's appointment. For the past four weeks, I have been going to the hospital once per week for blood pressure monitoring. Before I left my appointment, I was told that I now need to come twice per week for monitoring. I am really being well cared for out here in California it seems. They monitor everything to the extreme. Instead of being annoyed that I now have to visit the hospital and doctor three times per week, I thought to myself, " God's timing is perfect and really this baby is coming at a perfect time in our lives." When I think back to earlier times in my life and the chaos of those times, I don't think I could have juggled all of these appointments and focused as much on bringing a healthy baby into the world. At this particular stage in my life, I feel like I have the time to really do this right and just be a good parent. God has brought contentment to our lives and for that I am so thankful. He has such a perfect plan for all of us. It just takes little things to realize this.

An Update from Daniel

We are doing well preparing for the big moment. I enjoy talking and feeling the baby kicking. Sarah is doing great - she and the baby are healthy and getting ready for the big moment. It s all really exciting.. Great to know that we have so much support from family and friends

Daniel is asking how Alex is doing everyday. Alex is very active these days. Daniel likes to try to see if he can feel any kicks.

Most of you will be new to this type of babyshower, including me. Let me explain how it works. Sarah and her shower hosts will be adding pictures and stories from now until after Baby ALEX is born. So you can check here to see what's going on and to add your comments and your own stories!

There are lots of other things you can do like:

1. Sign the guestbook and let Sarah and Daniel know you are celebrating with them!

2. You can see where Sarah and Daniel are registered! If you would like to send them a gift, you can mail it directly to them or you can have it shipped through Target. For security, we won't put her mailing address up, but please just leave a comment or contact me at naomimoore@gmail.com, and I will send it right away!!

3. Words of advice for the mother and father to be. Scroll down just a little past the welcome. Please leave your comments on the journal entry entitled, "Words of Advice." It can be funny or serious, whatever comes to mind, we want to hear it all!! If you are not a parent, tell us a funny story from your childhood!

4. GAMES! Scroll down past the welcome and you can play a Guess-the-Birthdate Game by adding a comment to the journal entry entitled "Guessing Game". Take your guess as to the birthday, weight, and height of the baby! The person who gets it the closest will win a prize!!

Sarah si Daniel au prieteni in toata lumea, din Georgia pana in San Francisco si Romania. Micutul Zidaru se va naste in curand! Haideti sa ii ajutam sa sarbatoreasca sosirea mult asteptata a bebelului ALEX!!!

Multi dintre voi veti participa pentru prima data la acest tip de "babyshower – petrecere pentru bebe”, la fel ca si mine, de altfel. Sa va explic cum functioneaza. Sarah si gazdele petrecerii vor adauga fotografii si povestioare pana la nasterea micutului. Puteti vedea ce se mai intampla si adauga comentarii si povesti!

Sunt multe alte lucruri pe care le puteti face, cum ar fi:

1. Semnati in cartea de invitati pentru a impartasi cu Sarah and Daniel bucuria lor!

2. Aflati unde locuiesc Sarah si Daniel! Daca vreti sa le trimiteti un cadou, puteti sa o faceti direct prin posta sau prin Target. Pentru mai multa siguranta, nu vom afisa adresa lor de posta, dar puteti lasa un comentariu sau ma puteti contacta la nicoletapavel2005@yahoo.com, si voi trimite eu cadoul!!

3. Sfaturi pentru viitorii parinti. Comentati despre cum este sa fii parinte la capitolul "Sfaturi." Comentariile pot fi hazlii sau serioase, orice va trece prin minte, vrem sa auzim totul!! Daca nu sunteti parinti, spuneti o poveste amuzanta din copilarie!

4. JOCURI! Puteti juca Ghiceste-data-nasterii adaugand un comentariu la capitolul "Ghiceste". Ghiceste data nasterii, greutata si inaltimea copilului! Cine va fi cel mai aproape, va castiga un premiu!!

5. Consultati sectiunea DEZVOLTAREA COPILULUI pentru a descoperi data la care Sarah trebuie sa nasca si cateva informatii despre dezvoltarea micutului ALEX!!!

6. Si cea mai tare parte, veti vedea fotografii si veti asculta povesti dupa ce bebele se va naste!

I can't wait for Baby Alex to get here, as the day get's closer I get more excited!! I have lots of friends with little ones on the way and it's so wonderful to anticipate them. Miriam, elizabeth, joni, ashley.. so many dear friends!!! I can't wait to meet these little guys! However, there's something even more special to anticipating a neice or nephew. I knew it was going to be a little boy (she and daniel have the perfect personalities for little boys!) Can't wait to see if he has dark skin like his daddy or big beautiful eyes like his mommy!!
